Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
This policy describes what information Draftable.fun (“Draftable”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. When you sign in with an email link we collect your email address. Guests joining by code provide only a nickname.
- Draft activity. Draft topics, picks, votes, chat messages, screen names, and settings you create are stored in our database (Google Cloud Firestore) so your group can see and participate in the draft.
- Usage and diagnostics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate feature usage and Sentry to capture error reports (which may include your user ID and browser details) so we can fix bugs.
- Local storage. Your browser stores small amounts of data locally — for example the email you used to request a sign-in link, a guest nickname, sign-in redirect state, and your theme preference.
2. How we use it
We use this information to run drafts, keep you signed in, show your picks and name to other participants in your drafts, list drafts you mark public, improve the product, and diagnose failures. We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. What others can see
Participants and spectators of a draft can see your screen name, picks, votes, and chat messages in that draft. Drafts marked public are visible to anyone, including on the Draftable home page. Your email address is never shown to other participants, with one exception: an email you explicitly enter as a designated judge is shared with that draft.
4. Service providers
Draftable runs on Google Firebase (authentication, Firestore database, hosting and cloud functions). We use Google Analytics for usage measurement and Sentry for error monitoring. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.
5. Retention and deletion
Draft data is retained so finished drafts remain viewable by their participants. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing us; we will remove it within a reasonable period, except where a minimal record is needed for security or legal reasons.
6. Children
Draftable is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
